To reżyser, którego filmy dotyczące tematyki osób nieheteronormatywnych są „pełne ciepła, współczucia i humoru”. Prezentowane były już na ponad 100 festiwalach i przeglądach na całym świecie – on zaś zdobyły na nich dziesiątki nagród i a dzieła spotkały się ze świetnymi recenzjami krytyków. Reżyser jest Dyrektorem festiwalu KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival – największego indyjskiego festiwalu filmów LGBT.
